CTO CONNECTION COMMUNITIES
At CTO Connection, we are creating a small set of exclusive, global, invite-only communities where software engineering leaders can share problems and get answers from their closest peers. We're also aggregating the best engineering leadership wisdom into playbooks by role and scale so we can create and continually update the definitive guides for effective engineering leadership.

There are lots of types of engineering leadership - from team lead to CTO, tiny teams to huge orgs, and stasis to hypergrowth. And the questions you have and the answers you need are highly dependent on your role, scale and growth trajectory...
What is the biggest challenge you're facing right now in building or managing your engineering team? Let us help you to solve it...
If you're an engineering leader and you'd like to apply for membership (free at least for 2022!), please select your role:

WE ASK THAT EVERY COMMMUNITY MEMBER SHOW:
My name is Peter Bell. I ran engineering at General Assembly (an EdTech startup in NYC) along with a bunch of other startups that didn't get quite so much traction :) After getting fired from GA, I wanted to become a better engineering leader, and despite having co-founded the NY CTO School and being a member of the NY CTO Club, I really wanted to build a better way for senior engineering leaders to share problems and get answers.

In 2014, I organized the Inaugural New York CTO Summit where the CTOs of companies like MongoDB and Warby Parker shared their experiences of building and managing fast growth engineering orgs. Since then I've run 28 in-person and over 100 online summits, and it's clear from the 600+ presentations from senior engineering leaders that there are "good practices" for building and managing an engineering team - but they are not well distributed and often change frequently.

If you'd like access to biweekly office hours, monthly exclusive fire side chats, playbooks on the hard parts of building and managing a fast growth engineering org and a safe, supportive, high trust, global, personally vetted community of other senior engineering leaders, join us on our journey to identify, organize and distribute effective, "good practices" for engineering leadership.

We are focusing on quality over quantity, so if you're interested in joining the community, please do sign up ASAP as we'll be pausing admissions frequently to make sure we can personally connect with and build a strong relationship with all of our new members.

We're all busy, but this is a chance to build a high trust support network to help you navigate the challenges of managing and scaling the impact of your org.
