In 2018, Flatiron was acquired and as a result had a major hiring push to double our engineering team: we succeeded! In 2021, the Great Resignation meant we had another huge hiring push, but this time we wanted to prioritize DEI goals, even if it meant going slower. And we succeeded!

However, we are going to make it easier by discussing best practices, sharing learnings, success stories and searching for solutions together. We are focused especially on Attracting top talent (brand, comp, mission, positioning, outreach), hiring geographies, interviewing, onboarding, retention, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion topics but also are open to discussing other challenges connected to the Talent subject.
