ABOUT THE SAN FRANCISCO CTO SUMMIT
If you’re a senior engineering leader (director or higher), share problems and get answers at the 2022 San Francisco CTO Summit on Tuesday December 13th. Entrance is free (and limited) to qualified applicants, so you know you’ll be in a room with your peers, and you don’t have the hassle of expensing the admittance fee.

Participants include the CTOs of VMWare, CircleCI, Nylas, iTechArt, Monte Carlo and many more. This is primarily an event for engineering leaders in orgs of 50-5,000 engineers.

The event is comprised of three separate events (plus a speakers dinner the night before), so whether you want a full day of participation, presentations and discussions with your peers or just to drop in for the CTO breakfast or the evening reception, you can keep up to date as an engineering leader and will have an opportunity to share and get peer input on your most pressing business challenges.

Whether you’re looking to improve the effectiveness of your engineering org, handle a reorg with grace, manage difficult conversations with business stakeholders, improve your data infrastructure or just think about how to improve your impact or quality of life as an engineering leader, join us in San Francisco to connect with and learn from your peers.
WHY ATTEND?
Keep up to date with trends
Identify good practices
Strengthen your network
Get inspired and motivated
We know you're busy, so you can pick which parts of the CTO Summit you'd like to apply to attend:

MEET ENGINEERING LEADERS FROM
What CTO’s say about CTO Summits
The CTO Summit series produces some of the highest-quality content, available for engineering leaders. The speaker lineup is always diverse and passionate about their areas of expertise. I'm not aware of any other event which packs this much talent and high-quality content into a single day!
Johnny Austin
CTO Till
The CTO Summit gave me a great opportunity to step back from the daily challenges and think about broader opportunities to help my team evolve and accelerate.
Ann Funai
SVP Engineering, Under Armour
The summits bring together industry leaders who are passionate about sharing high-quality, practical knowledge in an environment that fosters valuable networking, learning, and growth.
Nick Caldwell
Chief Product Officer, Looker
Almost by definition, most senior engineering leaders don't have peers at their company that they can share with and learn from. I always look forward to participating in the CTO Summit events because they offer one of those rare opportunities to learn from peers, as well as to make and renew connections with colleagues. They are well-run, collegial, and always worthwhile. I recommend them highly to any senior engineering leader.
Randy Shoup
VP Engineering eBay
The CTO Summit was the rare event where every talk felt applicable to me as an engineering leader. The topics ranged from managing remote teams (pre-Covid!) to methods of coordinating a technical re-platforming. Talks were high quality, succinct, and always had useful takeaways.
Cat Miller
VP Engineering Flatiron Health
Agenda
The summit is a single track, full day (9am -> 7pm) summit with. 15+ presentations along with plenty of breaks for networking. More speakers and detailed agenda will be shared soon.

End of event

It's just so rare to get such a distinguished group of software engineering leaders together to talk about the issues common to us all. It's a must attend for anyone in technical leadership.

Robert Conrad CTO Crunchbase
The sessions were high caliber and had a lasting impact on my work this year. As a single-day event in my hometown, it was easy to work into my schedule.

Jenny Farver Co-CEO 8th Light
For the second year in a row this conference delivers so many great talks in a tiny package. A great return on investment and so many great connections all in one day.
