Per a recent HBR study, 80% of reorgs fail to achieve their objective, and 10% do actual damage to the company. In this talk, we cover the ugly, bad, and the good with reorgs. Why do they fail? What are the patterns? And are there alternatives to “big bang” style reorgs that risk driving attrition for very little gain?
